KEEP YOUR CAR IN GOOD SHAPE
TIPS FOR TAKING CARE OF YOUR CAR
If you ever see bird droppings or tree sap on your vehicle wash it off as soon as possible to prevent stains on the paint especially for bright coloured vehicle.
When you wash your vehicle, make sure you use clean water and a clean chamois and only wipe in one direction to avoid dirty watermarks.
Park your vehicle in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight to avoid paint oxidation.
Avoid automatic car wash systems using roller cleaners.
Don't clean the car on a hot sunny day - wait for the evening otherwise you will have smears all over the bodywork as the water dries.
Hand washes are better than automatic car washes.
Ignoring bugs will cause pits in the paint. Look at the front where the paint has small chips. You thought those were rock chips. Those are caused from bugs being left on the vehicle.
Windows should be cleaned inside and out with glass cleaner and paper towels. Then, lightly buff the windows with a 100% cotton towel.
If your car seats are leather, it is recommended that once a year you need to apply leather protection or rejuvenation to avoid cracking on the seats.
If someone vomits on the carpet or seats, you need to remove it as soon as possible before it dries so that the liquid of the vomit doesn’t spread to the foam and make sure windows are open until it dries.
If there are any constructions happening in your area (e.g. painting, concrete grinding or welding) make sure that your vehicle is inside your garage or covered car cover to prevent the paint from getting damaged by fallout.
